In
2002, I was living in a beautiful town in Northern Thailand practicing
yoga by the river, relaxing in hot springs and receiving Thai massages
when I first encountered Reiki.
One of my friends told me that
he was taking a Reiki class. Even though I had never heard
of Reiki before, I felt guided to join him. That class changed
my life. There was a subtle shift in my energy vibration and I
felt myself open up to Spirit in a way that I had never felt before.
We played with chakra balancing, meditation, crystals,
aromatherapy and practiced both giving and receiving a full Reiki
session in class. Playing with this energy was all very new and
exciting to me and I wanted to explore more of what this energy
was all about. I learned how to develop my intuition.
I began to truly listen to my heart. I started to speak my truth.
I painted my vision of the world as I danced through life. This
was my introduction to Reiki and where my path of self-healing
and personal transformation truly began.
Working with Reiki is easy because you don’t use your own
energy to do any of the healing work. We don’t heal, Reiki
heals. All you have to do is tap into the Reiki energy Universal
Life source, which is abundant, endless and always available. It’s
a very simple and easy healing modality and it brought
me closer to walking the path of light. I had always wanted
to do some form of healing work in my life, but I didn't know exactly
what I wanted to do. After taking the Reiki class, I knew this
was what I had been looking for.
It was magic receiving my first attunement. I was surprised at
how warm my hands felt when I tried to channel and use the Reiki
energy for the first time. I felt lost in the connection with the
Universal Life Energy source.
It was a timeless experience. It’s always available and is
a part of each one of us. I trusted in the Reiki healing
process and I couldn’t
wait to learn more. Reiki is simple, beautiful and filled with
love.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher and I am honored to bring the magic of Reiki to others. We
are living in a time of great change on the planet. There are many
problems in the world and I know that Reiki is an important key
to our planetary transformation. Reiki is a gift of the universe
and it is our heritage. Together we can use
Reiki to help transform and change our world into a beautiful place
of love and light.
